Observation of Scale Breaking in Inclusive Hadron Production by $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ Annihilation

Measurements are presented of the inclusive charged-particle cross sections $s$ $\frac{d\sigma }{\mathrm{dx}}$ for $e^{+}{e}^{-}$ annihilation at center-of-mass energies of 5.2, 6.5, and 29.0 GeV. Significant scale breaking is observed in these cross sections.
