Abstract

High spin levels in Nb91 and Zr91 have been studied with the reactions Sr88(Li6, 3n)Nb91 and Sr88(Li6, p2n)Zr91 by pulsed-beam-γ, γγ, and γW(θ) measurements. Isomers were found which agree with theoretical predictions: a τ=5.42±0.18-μ sec state at 2035 keV in Nb91, |(g92)2p12, 172, and a τ=6.15±0.50-μsec state at (3183) keV in Zr91, |(g92)2×d52, 212+. The |g92p12d52, 152 state in Zr91 was located at 2288 keV by a 28.1-keV decay γ ray.
