Muon Magnetic Moment in a Finite Theory of Weak and Electromagnetic Interactions

Abstract

We calculate the weak-interaction contribution to the muon anomalous magnetic moment of the order GWmμ2 in the Weinberg model for leptons. Using a ξ-limiting procedure we obtain a finite correction to 12(g2), which has the value (1.8-2.2) × 109.
