Abstract
We calculate jet shapes in low and collisions in perturbation theory at order for the hard parton-parton processes. For the process, resolved and direct contributions are superimposed. The dependence of the jet shapes on transverse energy, rapidity, and inner cone extension is studied. The numerical results of the calculation are compared with recent data from ZEUS at DESY HERA and from CDF and D0 at the Fermilab Tevatron. Good agreement is achieved if the problem of merging overlapping jets is taken into account by varying the parameter as a function of transverse energy and rapidity.
