Measurement of the decays D0ππ+ and D0KK+

Abstract

Using data from Fermilab photoproduction experiment E691, we measure the ratio of branching fractions between the Cabibbo-suppressed modes B(D0KK+)B(D0ππ+) to be 1.95±0.34±0.22. We also report branching fractions for the modes D0KK+ and D0ππ+ relative to the Cabibbo-allowed decay D0Kπ+. Furthermore, we place an upper limit of 0.45 at the 90% C.L. on the CP-violating asymmetry in D0KK+ vs D¯0KK+ decays.
