Abstract

A measurement of the rate Γ(KL02γ) has been made relative to the rates Γ(KL03π0), Γ(KL0π±μνμ), and Γ(KL0π±eνe) in a spark-chamber scintillation-counter experiment. Using published branching ratios of the three-body decays relative to the rate Γ(KL0all), the branching ratio Γ(KL02γ)Γ(KL0all) has been found to be (4.5 ± 1.0) × 104, based on 23 valid decays, which were separated from a small background.
