Abstract

We review of the comment on the rotating global monopole by Muhammed Haluk Seçuk [preceding Comment, Phys. Rev. D 102, 068501 (2020)] who affirms that it is not possible to obtain rotating global monopole systems in the Boyer-Lindquist coordinates using the Newman-Janis algorithm. In fact, this is true for the global monopole in f(R), but not for the other two monopole systems.
