Abstract
We have measured two-pion correlations in rapidity and transverse momentum in collisions at 102 GeV/c. The correlations, which are highly sensitive to the charges of the pions, display a behavior consistent with that expected on the basis of the short-range-order hypothesis, and, when compared with a model which does not contain explicit correlations, suggest the presence of substantial dynamic correlations in the data.
