Abstract
Isoscalar giant resonances in have been studied with inelastic scattering of 240-MeV particles at small angles including . A significant fraction of the energy-weighted sum rule was found for isoscalar , and high-energy octupole resonances in , respectively. Spherical Hartree-Fock-based random-phase approximation calculations were performed for each multipole using the KDE0v1 Skyrme-type effective interaction, and the results are compared to the experimental distributions.
