Abstract
Excited states of At have been studied by means of in-beam -ray spectroscopy and the recoil-decay tagging technique. A strongly coupled rotational band feeding the -decaying state via unobserved transitions was identified. This band is presumably built on the oblate proton state. Confirming earlier measurements, decays from the and states were observed. Additionally, an branch competing with the decay of the state was inferred. Also decays of the odd-odd isotopes At were examined.
