Abstract

We compute Coulomb energies for positive-parity levels in the mirror nuclei 18O and 18Ne. The dependence on the configuration and binding energy is explicitly taken into account, using wave functions containing two-particle– and four-particle–two-hole components. Predictions are made for 23+, 31+, and 42+ states.
