Abstract
The lifetime of the neutron-unstable nucleus was investigated to search for evidence of delayed neutron emission (neutron radioactivity). The lifetime was inferred to be less than 191 ps (68% C.L.) based upon the lack of fragments observed in the fragmentation of 52 MeV/nucleon nuclei. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
