Cranking Bohr-Mottelson Hamiltonian applied to normal bands of odd-A nuclei

Abstract

Normal bands on the well-deformed odd-A nuclei are studied with the cranking Bohr-Mottelson Hamiltonian proposed by us. The condition of validity of the model and comparison with the Harris expansion are discussed. The phenomena of identical bands are briefly discussed with the help of the present model.
