Abstract
Angular distributions of differential cross section and the analyzing powers , , and have been measured for the elastic scattering of polarized by at an incident energy of 70.5 MeV. These data have been compared with the results of coupled-channels (CC) calculations with central interaction and coupling potentials generated using the cluster-folding (CF) method. The significance of spin-dependent potentials and the D-state admixture in the ground state wave function are discussed.
