Abstract

We discuss and interpret the numerical results obtained by Zheng, Sprung, and Flocard [Phys. Rev. C 46, 1355 (1992)] in a two-level pairing model. It is shown that a violation of applicability limits of the Kamlah projection method is at the origin of results obtained for a weak pairing strength.
