Abstract
The distribution of the total energy and multiplicity of gamma rays feeding the yrast transitions has been measured for ,159Er, , and ,117Te, which are produced in several heavy-ion fusion reactions. The observed shape of the distribution feeding discrete yrast states varies with the spin of the yrast transition. However, the differences are small, especially for heavier-ion induced reactions.
