Abstract
Angular distributions for the transitions to the ground state and first excited state of for the (p,d) reaction have been obtained at 200 and 400 MeV. It has been shown that the ratio for the excitation of the states relative to the state can be accounted for at bombarding energies ranging from 16 to 800 MeV by the addition of a small amount of 1 in the wave function for the transition to the state.
