Abstract

The isoscalar giant quadrupole resonance and the giant monopole resonance in Sn112 were identified at Ex=13.3±0.2 MeVand 15.7±0.3 MeV, respectively, using small angle inelastic scattering of 129 MeV alpha particles. The nuclear incompressibility parameters for the volume term (Kvol), the surface term (Ksurf), and the symmetry term (Ksym) were determined including Sn112.
