Abstract
The differential muon-capture rate is obtained for the reaction over the allowed range of , the tritium energy, for two assumptions concerning the behavior of , the axial current form factor, in the timelike region; analytic continuation from the spacelike region and mirror behavior, . The values of under these two assumptions are found to vary substantially in the timelike region as a function of the mass in the dipole fit to . Values of are given for , , and .
