Abstract
Activation measurements of the (,)(g.s.+ 0.43 MeV) total reaction cross section have been made at 12 proton energies between 60-200 MeV, with typical uncertainties of 8-14%. The measured total reaction cross section is bserved to vary inversely with incident proton energy, and to agree very well, when extrapolated to lower energies, with previously published results in the energy range 25-45 MeV. A theoretical interpretation of this energy dependence is presented.
