Abstract
(2.8 h), (5 h), (20 h), (7 h), (4.2 h), (5 h), and (2.8 day) radioactive nuclei implanted by recoil into iron foils have been oriented at low temperature in a - dilution refrigerator. The following values have been established: , , , , , in : , ; in : , ; in : ; in : ; in : . Measured moments are compared with coupling predictions. Intermediate state reorientation due to randomly oriented quadrupole interaction has been observed for the 247 keV state of .
RADIOACTIVITY from , from , , from , implanted into iron; measured oriented nuclei; deduced magnetic moments, mixing ratios values; Ge(Li) detectors.
