Abstract

The γ rays and conversion electrons following the β decay of Xe141 and Cs141 have been measured by applying on-line mass-separation techniques to U235 fission products. Internal-conversion coefficients were determined for 10 transitions, and level schemes for the two daughter nuclei, Cs141 and Ba141, are proposed based on the study of γ-singles, γγ-coincidence, and internal-conversion electron spectra.

RADIOACTIVITY Xe141, Cs141; measured Eγ, Iγ, γγ coin, ICC; deduced logft; measured T12 Xe141, Cs141; deduced levels. On-line measurements, mass-separated U235 fission products.
