Abstract
The mean lifetimes of the states in at 3041 keV and at 2974 keV have been measured with the pulsed beam method to be , respectively. The states were populated via the reactions at MeV and at MeV. The deduced values result in proton and neutron effective charges which are in good agreement with other nuclei. However, the present lifetime result for is in disagreement with another measurement for this nucleus. A comparison of effective charges extracted from all presently available data on the →→→ transitions in nuclei is presented.
