Abstract

A method of calculating the low-temperature Hall conductivity in a weak magnetic field by means of the Mahan-Hansch transport equation including an external magnetic field for many-particle systems is presented. The Hall conductivity and Hall coefficient, based on the s-d exchange interaction model, are obtained. Compared with other calculations, our method overcomes difficulties associated with the divergence of the Hall conductivity at T=0 K. Our results are in good agreement with experiment.
