Inverse localization length for the one-dimensional Anderson model for small disorder

Abstract

A transfer operator method is used to calculate the inverse localization length, α, of the one-dimensional Anderson model as a function of disorder, σ. For small disorder α vanishes as α=Aσ2+O(σ4), with A=0.2088.
