Abstract

Measurements are reported on the size dependence of the thermal conductivity and thermopower of trigonal bismuth in the liquid-helium range. In contrast to what is observed in the trigonal plane, the phonon drag maximum is positive and its value is almost insensitive to the transverse dimensions down to 2 mm.
