(a) Transverse conductivity ${\sigma }_{xy}^P$ of the polaron in units of $g^2/N{g}_0^2$ with $g_0={\left(2\pi a\right)}^2/(3\sqrt{3}/2)t_1$, as a function of $\varphi$ and $\mathrm{\Delta }$ for $t_2=0.1t_1$. The solid lines give the boundaries $\mathrm{\Delta }=\pm 3^{3/2}{t}_{2}sin\varphi$ for the topological phase of the majority atoms. Panels (b) and (c) depict ${\sigma }_{xy}^P$ for fixed values of $(t_2/t_1,\varphi )$ and $(t_2/t_1,\mathrm{\Delta }/{\mathrm{\Delta }}_0)$ respectively.
