Generation of Coulomb Wave Functions by Means of Recurrence Relations

Abstract

A discussion of the computation of Coulomb wave functions from their recurrence relations is given. Specifically, it is demonstrated that the regular solution FL and the irregular solution GL may be obtained recursively based on the knowledge of the functions for L=0.
