Radioactive Xenons

The investigation of the radioactive xenons growing out from radioactive iodines following uranium or thorium fission is summarized in this paper. Two complete chains have been established and identified with their mass numbers. They are: ${}_{51}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Sb}_{}^{133}{}_{}{}^{} 10 \min .\mathrm{}\to {}_{52}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Te}_{}^{133}{}_{}{}^{} 60 \min .\mathrm{}\to {}_{53}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{I}_{}^{133}{}_{}{}^{} 22 \mathrm{hrs}.\mathrm{}\to {}_{54}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Xe}_{}^{133}{}_{}{}^{} 5 \mathrm{days}\to {}_{55}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Cs}_{}^{133}{}_{}{}^{}$ and $\left\{ {}_{54}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Xe}_{}^{135*}{}_{}{}^{}\right\}\left\{\nearrow \right\}\{{}_{53}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{I}_{}^{135}{}_{}{}^{}6.6\mathrm{hrs}.\mathrm{} \downarrow 10 \min .\mathrm{}\}\left\{\searrow \right\}\{ {}_{54}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Xe}_{}^{135}{}_{}{}^{} 9.4\mathrm{hr}.\mathrm{}{}_{55}{}^{}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Cs}_{}^{135}{}_{}{}^{}?\}$
