Sum Rules for the Strangeness-Changing Axial-Vector Coupling Constants

Utilizing the techniques of Adler and Weisberger two sum rules for the renormalization of the strangeness-changing axial-vector coupling constants are obtained. $\frac{G_A}{G_V}$ ratios for ${\Xi }^{-}\to \Lambda$ and ${\Xi }^0\to {\Sigma }^{+}$ $\beta$ decays are estimated. The former is then compared with an analysis of the same decay by Dalitz.
