Abstract
The alpha-particle spectrum, gamma-ray spectrum, and the ratio of gamma-ray to alpha-particle yield have been measured for the 163-kev + resonance which forms the 16.11-Mev state in . The results are combined with the previously known total width and gamma-ray yield to give new values for the gamma-ray widths, the partial alpha width for decay to the ground state, and the proton width. The new values for the partial widths, which differ from those previously listed by as much as an order of magnitude, are shown to be in agreement with the independent-particle model predictions.
