Abstract

The ratio of the nuclear magnetic moment of N14 to that of N15 in liquid nitrogen has been measured using the technique of nuclear magnetic resonance. The value obtained is μ(14)μ(15)=1.4257641±0.0000010. The true linewidths (between points of maximum slope) have been determined to be 24±4 cps for N14 and <4 cps for N15.
