Abstract

Multifragment events for intermediate-mass fragments (3≤Z≤12) with multiplicity up to four have been observed in the reaction of 0.90 and 3.6 GeV He3 ions with natAg nuclei. Fragment energy spectra and angular distributions are found to be dependent on event multiplicity. The data suggest significant modification of the Coulomb field of the emitting source.
