Abstract
The oscillatory instability of Rayleigh-Bénard convection is studied in a solution of 1.46% in superfluid for the Prandtl-number range . The observed behaviors of the oscillatory frequency and the onset condition support the theory of oscillatory convection for a classical, low-Prandtl-number, one-component fluid.
