Abstract

To study the α-cluster states in the ${}^{38}{Ar}$ nucleus, angular correlation functions between t and α in the ${}^{34}S$ ( ${}^{7}{Li}$ , $t α$ ) ${}^{38}{Ar}$ reaction have been measured. Seven states at 10.2, 10.8, 11.4, 12.2, 12.7, 14.3, and 15.0 MeV were newly observed.
