α-cluster states in Ar38 observed via the S34(Li7,tα)S34 reaction

Abstract

To study the α-cluster states in the Ar38 nucleus, angular correlation functions between t and α in the S34(Li7, tα)Ar38 reaction have been measured. Seven states at 10.2, 10.8, 11.4, 12.2, 12.7, 14.3, and 15.0 MeV were newly observed.
