Note on Diamagnetism: Clarification of Relations between Fundamental Molecular Theories

Abstract

This paper gives a brief discussion of Weber's theory of diamagnetism and of the relations between it and the more recent theory of Langevin, as well as a composite theory involving ideas from both and sometimes confused with that of Langevin.
