Abstract

We report the first observation of exclusive decays of the type BD*NN¯X, where N is a nucleon. Using a sample of 9.7×106BB¯ pairs collected with the CLEO detector operating at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we measure the branching fractions B(B0D*pp¯π+)=(6.51.2+1.3±1.0)×104 and B(B0D*pn¯)=(14.53.0+3.4±2.7)×104. Antineutrons are identified by their annihilation in the CsI electromagnetic calorimeter.
