Cross-flow of flux lines in the weak link regime of high-Tc superconductors

Abstract

The evolution of the magnetic flux density in the cavity and wall of tubes of high-Tc superconductors subjected to an azimuthal field in the presence of axial fields provides dramatic evidence of cutting and cross-flow of the flux lines in the weak link regime.
