Phase Transitions in the Quantum Heisenberg Model

Abstract

We rigorously prove that in three or more dimensions, the nearest-neighbor, simple-cubic, ferromagnetic, quantum Heisenberg model of spin S(=12, 1, ) has a phase transition at nonzero temperature.
