Left-Hand Cuts in Regge Trajectories

It is suggested that all Regge trajectories $\alpha \mathrm{}\left(t\right)\mathrm{}$ have a branch point at $t=0\mathrm{}$ and are complex for negative $t$. A number of consequences and conjectures based on this possibility are discussed.
