Magnetic Moment of the First Excited State of Cd114

Abstract

The magnetic moment of the first 2+ state at 558.5 keV in Cd114 has been measured to be |μ2|=0.88±0.12μN by the perturbed gamma-gamma angular correlation technique utilizing the internal hyperfine field in an Fe lattice.
