Abstract
We report a direct measurement of mixing parameters through a time-dependent amplitude analysis of the Dalitz plots of and, for the first time, decays. The low-momentum pion in the decay identifies the flavor of the neutral meson at its production. Using of colliding-beam data recorded near by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy collider at SLAC, we measure the mixing parameters , and . These results provide the best measurement to date of and . The knowledge of the value of , in particular, is crucial for understanding the origin of mixing.
