Abstract

A search for the rare decay ηe+e is performed using the inverse process e+eη in the decay mode ηπ0π0π0. We analyze data with an integrated luminosity of 654nb1 accumulated at the VEPP-2000 e+e collider with the SND detector at the center-of-mass energy E=mηc2548MeV, and set the upper limit B(ηe+e)<7×107 at the 90% confidence level.
