Abstract

We present theoretical predictions in the framework of the ANP model for single pion production (π+,π0) in νμ and ν¯μ scattering off mineral oil and plastic. Our results for the integrated cross sections and flux-averaged differential distributions are compared to all available data of the MiniBooNE and MINERνA experiments. While our predictions slightly undershoot the MiniBooNE data, they reproduce the normalization of the MINERνA data for the kinetic energy distribution. For the dependence on the polar angle, we reproduce the shape of the arbitrarily normalized data.
