Abstract

A direct convergence proof of the generalized and improved Dyson-Salam renormalization scheme, introduced in our earlier work as a consistent renormalization scheme in momentum space for renormalizable as well as nonrenormalizable theories, is readily given by expressing the renormalized Feynman integrand in a form to which the power-counting theorem is immediately applicable.
