Abstract
Cross sections of the and the reactions were measured at five neutron energy points in the 4.0–6.0 MeV region. Highly enriched (98.6%) samples were prepared. A twin-gridded ionization chamber was used as the charged particle detector and the reaction was utilized to calibrate the absolute neutron fluence. The present results were compared with those of the existing measurements, evaluations, and calculations.
