Abstract

Following a similar approach suggested recently to derive breakup probabilities [Phys. Rev. C 92, 054620 (2015)], we present a simple method to derive transfer probabilities by measuring only elastic or quasi-elastic scattering for the system under investigation with the positive transfer Q values and a similar system with closed transfer channels. Our estimations and transfer data for the two-neutron stripping in the O18+Pb206 reaction are in a reasonable agreement.
