Abstract
I have used a simple potential model to calculate single-particle widths in . Assuming mirror symmetry, I have combined them with the spectroscopic factor from the reaction to compute proton widths for the first-excited state. I present results for the resonance strength parameter and for the reaction rate for two values of the width and two values of the resonance energy.
