Abstract

The neutron-rich nucleus 112Rh has been reinvestigated by examining the prompt γ rays emitted in the spontaneous fission of 252Cf with the Gammasphere detector array. A new side band was built in 112Rh. Total Routhian surface calculations have been performed and confirm the role of triaxiality in the negative-parity structure of 112Rh.
