Abstract

The distribution of valence neutrons of odd-odd Sb120,122,124 nuclei was investigated in the framework of the interacting boson-fermion-fermion model. It was found that the occupation probability of the νh11/2 orbit increased by 0.084±0.037 when exciting the odd proton from the d5/2 to the g7/2 state. The change was interpreted as a result of the proton-neutron interaction. © 1996 The American Physical Society.
